Good next step
Write the issue in one sentence, identify the supporting evidence, and ask one specific question at a time.
Was your stolen vehicle recovered?
If you have already lodged a theft claim and the vehicle has now been recovered, select an answer.
Vehicle recovered? Take the security step seriously.
Your vehicle may have a security risk after theft recovery. The thief may have had access to the locks, ignition, keys or other security components.
Get the locks, ignition and relevant security system professionally checked immediately. If a component is compromised, consider replacing it promptly.
This is a practical security precaution. It is not a statement that IRDAI universally mandates lock replacement after every theft recovery.
